I almost missed it.
A soft blurry photo
bathed in deep red hues.
Vibrant image there.
Hiding ~ wanting to be seen.
The obvious muted.
Looked at the caption.
It caught my coffeeless mind.
Read: 'Woman Revealed'
I did not see her.
She remained undiscovered.
Didn't see her allure.
Finally I saw!
Hidden figure just waiting.
Mystery revealed.
Just needed to look
Caption to intrigue me there
So obvious now
Wouldn't it be nice
if everyone came with
their own seen caption?
'True Friend' or 'Liar'…
'Next Lover' or simply 'RUN! '
'Trustworthy'...'Loyal'
'Winning poker hand.'
'Bastard, planning vile crime.'
Everyone captioned.
'Million Dollar Plan'
Why not captioned ideas?
Poets captioned too!
But...maybe its best
Not to see ~ not know someone
'Could have been The One.'
It could have been you
Maybe I lacked the resolve
or didn't look deep.
Next time, you'll be mine
As neon caption flashes:
'Woman of my Dreams'
Some day I'll find you.
See you revealed as you are.
