a surprisingly lovely flower
coming up somehow through
the cracked pavement of
your pain.
One wouldn’t have
expected anything
to have come from
such... beginnings.
So
not only were you
beautiful
but amazing.
You weren’t to be
explained
And we were...
(just glad that)
...you were.
