Drunk on nectar wind, Apis mellifera
Pregnant with pollen and dulled instinct
Maneuvering undulations of the generous orgy
A gaping mouth, swollen, damp
Crowded in stocking camouflage
The wetdream of wolves
Picker in opposition, in zombie pumps
Scented beyond reason, howling desire
Between us a silent engagement
Her makeup working both ways
Normal life petrified through ritual
The impolite cowboy cakewalk
Intruding without apology, the music of Unlover
Left out, another empty chair taken
An empty heart at an odd place setting
She finds me as I find her...spent
Poised in the imagination of love
I've seen art in nature
The Lieutenant and me, feigning
Acceptance with still gentle hands
A fallen leaf, almost touching cotton candy
Sweetness turned around
Glistening vats for the fare apples
It was Sam wanted summers
That revealed our pensions, now
