The fatigue of the day
Is allowed to take it's own course.
Arranged upon the sumptuous hide -
The participants.
An art form in the making.
My lover sprawls beautifully,
Her head on my thigh,
Electric fish tank amuses,
Comments trivial and profound exchange.
Fingers through hair,
Time without care,
Nowhere to be but there.
Comfort and safety.
Love and satisfaction.
She dozes on and off
As my smile bathes her in adoration.
It's a tough old night,
We'd better go to bed...
