Will my name still pass through your lips
When I have finished my earthly trip?
Will my face stay clear in your mind
Or will my image be a blur and hard to find?
How will you speak of me when I have gone
On to nirvana and off to the Son?
Will you cherish the times when I was good
Or when I would fall into a devilish mood?
Or will you even speak of me at all
When your prodding guilt has taken its toll?
Will the grass and flowers on my grave
Grow cared for or wither as in a cave?
If you ever loved me will you go on
Loving me in death as in life you have done?
To all of these whatever your reply
Will you believe I'll love you more after I die?
