A NURSE PRAYER

Nurture me Father with tender arms
That I could free patients suffering
And a heart that is full of charm
In fulfilling my duties and calling
Use me as a channel of your love
To build bridge of understanding
And an instrument of your wonder
To help the weak from agonizing.
Restore my strength I need to serve
For the sake of every human being
And deepen my faith to preserve
The dignity of this noble calling.
Secure my path away from danger
As I try to do thy will ever willing
For the sake of this land of wonder
And thy Glory that is everlasting
Empower me God with thy wisdom
I need to gain better understanding
Of the beauty of thy holy kingdom
You’ve made for every human being.
