There are times when the inspiration just comes,
and others when there is none.
You pick up your pen
and it is a great struggle to write.
You try to force it out,
but it doesn’t do any good.
You throw your hands in the air;
scream why is this happening to me?
Your brain answers back,
you fool can’t you see.
I want a day off like everyone else.
Lately you have been taxing me a bit,
and I couldn’t give a twinkle
what you want to do.
Go away leave me for a while.
I may come back later
and give your face a smile.
