The sky is grey and shattered ice,
Snowflakes drift from the sky,
Gently settling on crisp leaves or winter berries,
Blanketing the land with a magnificent white glow,
Trees of Evergreen are covered in a shine of crystallised frost.
On houses hang decorations of icicles,
Lustrous like Diamond,
People stay inside wrapped up warm by the fireplace,
Roasting marshmallows and drinking hot cocoa.
Horse drawn carriages leave tracks behind them,
A robin with chest of red sings sweetly on the fence,
While Wolves play on the ice.
The Sun begins to peek out from a cloud,
The Snow starts to melt,
Flowers rise from the snow,
Spring has moved into winters place.
