To a good friend in hope that they will listen.
Sometimes we neglect to say things
to the people who really care.
We do it because we want to protect them,
which is not what they want us to do.
Whenever you are hurting
you should tell the ones who care,
because they want to be there
especially for you.
You think that not by telling them
that everything will be OK.
In truth, it hurt them more
when they find out you
were only trying to save their feelings.
They would have rather that you told them
so they could reach out
to give you the comfort that you need.
