Here you are again – alone
What else is new
Your soul feels so empty
I’ve seen some many things
Not one of them touches your heart
How can you be so dead
To love to life to even death
Sometimes I just want to shout out
What is wrong with you
But the response would break my heart
Forcing me to see what others do not
Someone who feels damaged
Someone who feels she’s inferior to everyone else
She just doesn’t deserve to be happy
Why should she expect that
When she’s always been hurt
The only time she felt like she fit in
They immediately kicked her out
Telling her sorry kid, you’re just not good enough
Reinforcing what everyone has told her
From the moment she was cursed
Sorry honey you shouldn’t expect much
For you’ll surely end up alone
Now look at you
Pity it has come to this
The girl who only wanted to be love
Finally caved into reality
Realizing she’s the beast
While everyone else is the beauty that she can never be.
