Astonished is what he was as he found he wasn't the only one
Beside himself he felt because he let this happen
Cold shoulder is what he got for his passion
Despair is what he has now
Empty is his heart that once was full
Feelings of hapiness never to be seen again
Good days are gone, he is left in the dark
Helpless, this pain has left him that way
Incoherent he was after the news broke
Jaded is how he felt at the time
Knowing love from this point on seemed unreal
Lies were being turned into truths
Many tried to reach him after, but none were able to do so
Nomadic thoughts ran through his head every second
Oblivious to anything except the pain he felt
Pills would not be able to supress the hurt
Quiet was his manner once the reality set in
Rescue is what he was in dire need of
Self pity is where he wanted to remain
Tortured was his soul from being betrayed
Unloved is a feeling he never wanted to experience
Violent attacks on his heart left it scarred and hardened
Without hope is how he is now
X is all that's left of what he called a heart
Yesterday he was happy
Zero is the amount of love he has left.
