Pride precedes a fall;
Summer is ripe with peacocks
Flashing colors for the fair.
We reach out
 to fill a space.

What we find makes us pall
Walking around the mall
Strutting higher and tall.
Afraid to venture from our lair,
We search in
 and find a space.
