What is it that's awakened?
Almost a tear, almost a memory
A feeling so lonely succumbs
A memory that fades
and vanishes. - Yet
it is something my heart cannot forget.
What is it that's haunting
that stirs some deep, long buried pain
In my heart - a yearning their?
fingers tries to clutch the empty air.
The ghost uncaptured - Yet
it is something my heart cannot forget.
Now it has all ended and quiet,
Am left with empty walls
All is lost in my quest
half remembered things locked in my breast.
What is it that's awakened?
something which my heart cannot forget!
