She turns her back from another slammed door.
Another day, another night,
Another betrayal.
Truth and honesty have not helped her testimony.
She stood by her convictions, which were returned with deceptions.
She's out of her element.
In a 'Me First' world.
For 'one' must hide their tears.
For 'one' is not human if they have flaws.
She turns her back from another slammed door.
Another day, another night,
Another betrayal.
She tried to decipher human nature.
She stood by her convictions, which were returned with deceptions.
The clinging, the clawing, selfish demeanor, heartless human disposal,
Only wounds the Soul.
In a world that lacks self discipline, relishes in self indulgence.
She retorts the deceptions, ruled by convictions and continues to give her all.
