Looking out the window,
On an overcast day,
The brave senses the impending storm,
With dark clouds hovering,
Ringing the alarm,
Of a thunderstorm approaching,
So he braces himself,
And feels his adrenaline rushing!
Those who are mild at heart,
Dread the thunder,
As the dark clouds keep forming,
They look for the thin opening,
Through which the sun might peek!
I look out the window,
And can smell the coming rain,
With the wind resting softly on my cheeks,
And the patter of the first drops,
Breaking the monotonous silence,
And soon they become a steady pour,
Drowning out all noise,
I put my arm out of the window,
And feel the dancing drops,
The rain has finally come!
