So many times I wanted to ask,
Will you wait for me?
Are you strong enough to hold on
Until I can break loose?
I am a prisoner in my own mind,
Unable to visualize
This adventure that you offer me
Without reservation;
So many times I tried to let go,
To grab the dream and run,
There's just so much I don't know -
Can I trust my heart?
So many times life's passed me by
And I've failed to get involved -
What is this fear that holds me still
And threatens my existence?
So many times I came so close
To severing my bonds,
They continue to suffocate me -
Am I strong enough to break free?
