I don't know how high I
Was, but I was way up
There, clinging to a rafter.
Jump, Mary! Jump Mary,
JUMP! I looked down. WAY down!
My hands were slick with sweat.
My hot breath was gasping.
My cousins screamed, JUMP! JUMP!
My heart thudded and heaved.
I didn't jump, I fell.
Down, down, air all around.
I bounced in the hay.
I lay there for a minute.
My cousins looked awed.
I said, 'LET`'S DO IT AGAIN! '
They grinned and up we scampered.
