Dear Lord I come to you today,
a friend in a distant country
is going into surgery today.
I pray to you our Lord
that you will protect him,
put your arm around him.
Guide him safely through
the operation he is going to have,
then help him in the healing process
that he will have to go through,
so he may join us here soon.
Please Lord hear my prayer today.
