Somewhere
in a somewhere
far from here
(her death now
only these ineffectual words
crying in a book)
a match
is struck
in a church
in Sofiya
and a candle is lit
making visible
the memory of her
and the lost child
follows the candle home
as the old ceremony
allows
charmed by the sound
of her name
and her father’s voice
... searching.
