Here we are
You and I, we sit
At cluttered desks with
cluttered minds
If you had reason to stand
Would you be sitting here with me?
Maybe you sit because you have reason to sit
But if you have not, that is common among the two of us
We are sitting because of a lack of reason to stand
But wait, what about those standing?
In the street
At the beach
Standing under moon
a bridge, or next to a loved one
Have they found reason to stand? and how?
No, they do not stand for reason
They stand for search of one.
How can you and I search from our seats?
Those who sit will always be watching and
Those we're watching will never stop searching
Should we join the search? From our seats it seems endless
But endlessness searching with my standing friends
is worth the galaxies, that we're searching
So, stand from your desk
I will stand from mine
And join us in our quest to find reason
But remember
If you go to sit back down because no one else stands with you
If you need reason to stay standing
Feel this
We stand together
You and I
Maybe not in time
But in mind
In mind we want the same
And we will find that reason.. in time
Gee gee
