THE SHIVA NATARAJA
The Shiva Nataraja portrays the entier kinetic
universe,
Where every thing is in an eternal state of flux!
Right from the miniscule atoms and the massive
galaxies,
Always spiralling around, which our normal eyes
cannot see!
As planets and stars vibrate in their celestial
motion;
The hour - glass 'drum' in Shiva's right hand, -
symbolises all creation!
While the fire in the left hand ushers in the cyclic
time frame of destruction!
The raised third hand is in a gesture of infinite
benediction;
And the fourth hand pointing to His upraised
foot, -
Shows the path of liberation!
Lord Siva's cosmic dance through eternal time
and space, in ever fluid motion;
Forever celebrates celestial destruction and
glorious transformation!
