You became a light in my dark world
A blanket when everything was so cold
Your positive thinking...
gives me a hint of hope...
when I feel as if I no longer can cope
Your kindness...
shows me that someone does care
A person like you is rare
When at times I feel like no one cares, I look back to what you have done for me
And I see...
A true friend you are to me
What you've given to me is the best gift of all
So valuable it is to me
No precious stone could even come close to meeting its value
It is a friend so true
There are few
But one are you
If I hadn't met you, down the drain, my life I would've tost
Without you I'd be lost
I look at this world and wonder if there's any genuinely nice people out there
With you, I can see there are
I don't know how someone could be so kind
But in you that's what I find
I can't thank you enough
You help me when things get tough
I hope for you I can do the same
I'm so glad, to the youth centre, i came
You gave me a friendship I'll never forget
Meeting you I'll never regret
