We never drove to Harlan
Over the ridges and through the high land.
We never shared the dreams of Schubert’s Traumerei
Never enjoyed the Gehmütlichkeit of sweet Lorelei.
We never got to breathe a Londonderry Air
Berean Hills was the place where we first made a pair.
