A Real Dad
You have always been there for me,
I don’t have to keep things from you,
You accept me for the person I am,
You never judge me,
You don’t say oh she has issues so I am not going to be in her life,
You don’t look at me different from the others,
You look at us as if we are the same,
You mean more to me than you will ever know,
You hold a special place in my heart,
I can be myself around you,
And you have never once told me oh your crazy,
Yes, we say stuff like that only playing,
But I know that you don’t really mean it,
You love me for me,
You don’t look at me different,
I some times wonder if I don’t bother you,
But I just hope that if I did you would tell me?
