At the top of the staircase thy beckon
to me. Thou art a vision of loveliness,
everything my eyes yearn to see.

Thou art a rose '' without thorns '', yet
I would still gently hold. Asleep or awake
my arms ache; for thee to enfold.

stand. Together thru' life we will walk
hand in hand.
