Today you told me I was beautiful,
The prettiest girl you've seen.
You made me feel nice,
kind of like a queen.
I try my very hardest,
for peple to notice me as I walk by.
Most of the time I just feel
Like I'm going to cry.
Then you,
Oh glorious you!
You came into my life,
Came and made my skies blue.
Now I feel complete,
and with happiness by and by.
Now I know inside,
I hadn't need to try.
Competing for your attention,
longing to be your friend.
I didn't know what would happen,
Until the very end.
Today you told me I was beautiful,
I was the one heaven sent.
I wish you could've known,
How much that really meant.
