As Glamorous Grannies we attain to be
While trying to keep our dignity
Cakes and biscuits are no more
As slim and trim is seen as norm
It’s what society does degree
As looking old is not to be
Movie stars with loads of money
Resort to ways that aren’t so funny
Botox injections by the score
Hoovers sucking fat galore
Surgeon’s knives to nip and tuck
Only if we have spare bucks
What hope is there for us?
With smaller incomes and droopy busts
But will it be a major crime
If we can’t hold back the hands of time
