Late night swimming
pool lights off
as are our bathing suits.
A suburban summer
rite of passage
warm fresh chlorinated water
irresistible
entwined legs tread as one
lightly sensually.
For a moment
a hint of sea engulfs us
a whisper of salt.
God bless curiosity, willingness
sleeping parents.
