Andrew Long - We're All on Fire

2014-11-08 0 Dailymotion

Watching the fire,
As it dances its enigmatic dance.
Always moving, never stopping.
Life is a flame;
A small flicker in the night,
Seen from miles away.

Like a match,
Slowly depleting.
We watch as it burns away,
In rythmic tandem.

It burns and burns,
And there's no way to stop it.
It leaves behind the charred corpse.

To keep your fire burning,
It must be fueled.
You cannot fuel it on your own.
The more fuel you have,
The higher your flame.

When darkness sets in,
Your flame is obvious.
It calls to its family,
In the deep pools of night.
