The Easter Bunny hopping through the trees
Something about the sound of those leaves
He gets a rhythm starts to feel the beat
The next thing you know he starts to moving those feet
The squirrels in the trees look down to see
They see the Bunny dancing merrily
They began to sway say that's real sweet
Then they start dancing right in those trees
The muskrats and chipmunks they come along
They feel the beat start to humming a song
The opossum hanging by the end of his tail
Way up high he starts singing as well
'Opossum this, Opossum that! '
'I ain't no muskrat, I ain't no brat! '
My moma a Opossum no forest rat!
'A rock n roll opossum what you think of that! '
The birds in the trees and the mice in the leaves
They join in. say, 'Hey look at me! '
'I can out dance you just watch and see! '
As the forest comes alive to the rock n roll beat
The Easter Bunny says, 'I've got to go! '
As the opossum sings out, 'My moma loves me so! '
'I've got eggs to deliver but I'll have you know! '
'It's good to see you all still got soul! '
So the Easter Bunny he went on his way
But as he left he had this to say
'The Bunny rock n roll it is here to stay! '
'Everyone have a wonderful Easter Day! '.
