My wound grows deeper
as my climb becomes steeper
my river more narrow
and not straight as an arrow
I've fallen off the path again
only remembering where I've been
when the stream was gentle and wide
now it's a scary and lonely ride
Is a ride alone even worth the trip?
Please catch me before I lose my grip
