Since I died,
Everything around me slowed down,
Every moment feels like an eternity.
We live life like no end,
Though we know he will come,
I live in fear of death itself,
No longer immortal!
As I lay in bed,
I feel my heartbeat thumping against my chest,
Conscious of every beat,
With him in my arms,
I feel alive,
I need no other love,
Than the love I have for life.
