Love conquers all
Says the dreamer in disguise
Leaving hopes and imaginations to bloom
The ties of the non-blood with me
And the blood ones away
Distance and ego separates us over and over
With a timid backing of time
I tend to cross the river of “workaholism”
Yet to be claimed none is done.
Away from them I drift
Unto the plains of never-ending steppes
I see Life, I see Death
But nothing confronts me...not yet.
All that matters to him, I try
In vain, I try again
The army marches forward
With weapons of cries
Making the mirror in me crack
Stagnancy throughout this phase
I am stuck imagining aimlessly
Like the paper boats carelessly sailing through the muddy rains
Knowing it is never to last too long
I look through the window to see them drown
Amidst the snowflakes, I lie
Looking up the sky, I see the moon
Dressed in white like mine
I see death approaching
I see him riding the sledge of pain
Ascending towards the ground to sweep me into his arms.
The much awaited Prince Charming!
I finally meet him.
