I see him every day…every night
Yet I try to remember him with all my might
I share my work and my penny,
I share my love and sorrows many
With him, I seem to share all
But who is he, with whom I seem to have a ball!
Taken vows to live it up
Always ended up being a backup
Through the waves of time, I see him
Changes creeping in like the wood wizard
Leaving my questions unanswered.
Unfinished business, I pay everyday
Complaints yelling all day
Scanning faces across the bay
I see not him, and thoughts astray
Unfinished business, I see again.
Farfetched future, I behold
Do I see him in me?
Still water runs deep, they say
Secrets yet to mould,
I stand there waiting at the bay
Staring at the horizon, just like Jane.
