walking alone in a lonely night
thinking of a gift for a precious child
can't buy fine jewels nor can i treat
indigent....i have nothing to give...
in an empty home nothing i can find
not even a cup of coffee or a glass of ordinary wine
in that home where almost 60 orphans lived
in the hands of guardians, their dreams were fulfilled...
jessa. jessa of mine you're an angel
with your brothers and sisters in an orphanage lived
mama and papa are in heaven's door
they watch over you...praying you'll not be blue..
a gift to you will soon be yours
3 years more to complete high school
let all sacrifices be at your way
soon you'll grow...can live peacefully....
(this is for jessa tandango..i met her during our fieldtrip in the orphanage..little child, dreams will come true..take care of your siblings..when you grow up into a full grown, hope you can read this poem....if by chance you read this after many years, hope you still remember the gift i gave to you..we love you always...)
