VISION!
To see things that are invisible, -
Perhaps with the ‘third eye’,
Things which beyond the horizon lie!
As sages and seers meditate,
Beyond this world of love and hate,
What could be our ultimate fate?
Good deeds and actions performed on
earth,
With hope of securing a better re-birth!
To break this never ending cycle of life
and death? !
We all dream of a better world,
Lying beyond this world of ours!
While heaven and hell are all here to
stay,
We like children have lost our way!
These are not mental abstractions,
Lying in a hermit’s contemplation!
It is all that we make of ourselves, -
A life of good deeds and meaningful
action!
In serving mankind we serve God,
That’s the closest to Him we can ever
get,
Mother Teresa and many others, -
Have shown us that glorious way!
