for so long I’ve been waiting
for love to grow on me
to see your eyes glow
to hear the words flow
how many times I ask myself
if this is love or not
many times I was confused
why yellow bricks break the wall
wild flowers grow in woods
untamed thoughts flow in air
poetic words never sleep
awake in every step
the road is long
where many a twisting course
like stars shine
in the sky of blue moon
yesterday is gone it will never come again
but today is here speaks the truth once more
tomorrow there’ll be no tears
tomorrow there’ll be no sorrow
tomorrow when loneliness comes
like yesterday it heals the wounds..
