The feel of the ground dirt beneath my cleats
The touch of the hard softball in my hand
The noise of the fans cheering in the crowd
It's something I can't get enough of.
Ready on my feet,
Hoping for the next hit to come to me.
Glove in the dirt,
Smack of the ball,
Hard throw,
Strike three, and she's out!
