If I were a substrate,
you would be my active site.
If I loved explosives,
you would be my dynamite.
If I loved bright things,
You would be my flash of light.
In times of weakness,
Your love resonates within me.
To my nitty-gritty, you make me.
But you are not my atoms.
You are my protons, neutrons and electrons.
Yet your love goes goes even further,
For to the infinitely small,
You are my quarks.
And to the infinitely large,
You are my Universe.
