I am thinking about the day
My heart shall be numb
I will want to do a lot
But tomorrow will never come
I will want to go back to my roots
To my start, to my earth
I will want to touch the land
Where my body took its birth
I will want to kiss the lady
My first teacher, my creator
I will want to bow to the divine
Holy feet of my mother
I will want to hug the man
Curator of every smile I had
I will again want to hold
The little finger of my dad
I will want to worship the place
I was made a human from a creature
I will want to thank the enlightened
My each and every teacher
I will want to hear the people
They had a shoulder to lend
I will want to talk old days
With each and every friend
I will want to cleanse my soul
From animosity I did sow
I will want to embrace every one
No more I’ll need a foe
I will want to seek her forgiveness
With me who spent her life
I will want to spend all time
She never got while being a wife
I will want to laugh with them
They took me a step farther
I will want to express my love
To angels who call me their father
I will want to be more responsible
Towards nature and my nation
I will want to do my bit
Before seeing eternal salvation
Now I don’t want to wait for the day
When my heart shall be numb
I will do all I want; before the day
Tomorrow will never come
