As I wander thru the night,
Silence as my blanket.
Comforts from dangers.
Haunting shadowed worlds.
Cool gray mist reaches up.
Skyward over marshlands.
Offering up a cloudy mask.
For distant mountain crests.
Blending each in crimson haze.
Sunset's royal evening's attire.
Frosted moon so full and bright.
Encircled in bows of colored ice.
Adorning far and distant horizons.
In the clear, crisp shimmering sky.
Stars white light, explode above.
Canopy for fairy castles borne.
In life and minds of fantasy.
Shattered diamonds caste.
As if to serve God's delight.
A bounty of natural beauty.
Gifts to all who, take the time
To wander, thru the night.
