I remember poetry.
I remember you and me.
Just the way we used to be,
Two of a kind.
I remember drama class,
And at times I still laugh
When I remember getting in trouble
For laying my head on your shoulder.
I remember our constant emailing
And that night at the pool
When I kissed your cheek at least five times
Because I thought you were about to leave.
I remember the school dance
When I saw you with Chase's sister
And jealousy overtook me
Now I realize just how silly that was.
I remember yesterday
When you got your phone back
You could never imagine how happy I was
The moment I saw you texted me.
This poem, It seems incomplete,
But if I listed more,
It'd go on forever;
The memories haven't ended.
