Here comes in the maiden year of the decade
Bringing in new hopes and dreams on parade;
Welcome with new zest, pride and courage
It shall take you to a new stage;
Promise yourself to live every moment as anew
Life is as uncertain as a dropp of dew;
You may not know about the pinnacle
You can always square the circle;
Every river reaches out to the sea
World is the way, you see.
