Darkness hides everything.
But the light of day
Reveals the wonders
That the night tucks away.
The beauty of the skies.
The majestic sea.
Multicolored flowers.
The likes of bird and bee.
The rivers, streams and ponds
Where tiny life dwells.
Things the darkness hides,
The dawn reveals quite well.
And so the miracle of dawn
Brightens all around,
Giving access to
The joy of sight and sound.
