Don’t weave beautiful dreams in dreams,
Life is wide awake to desecrate your dreams,
Awaits for you in every path and alley that you cross,
And attacks with words and hideous desires.
Started the journey like a happy child with rainbow dreams and desires,
Now we stand and try to choose the “destined” path,
Scared mind fears to tread where it once ventured like a warrior and philosopher,
Weaving an “Utopia” in the corner,
With half-shut eyes and disoriented look, we walk with veiled faces,
Heart has shut its door to imagination, and it drinks and dines only with the commons.
Dispirited spirit walks around with that borrowed stick and not with those rainbow dreams.
Struggle of construction desecrated the Garden of life,
Filth and stink of ego changed it into a dark pit.
Dreams are dead and spirits are tired,
Like an abandoned child, we lie in the dark pit of life.
