I'm in the middle of two roads,
Wondering which to take.
My future depends,
On the decision I make.
I want to take the road,
Less traveled by.
I've yet to figure out,
Where or why.
I want to take the road,
That leads to success.
I want to be better,
Than everyone else.
I don't want to sound rude,
Mean or conceited.
But it's my time to shine,
I'm tired of feeling defeated.
I'm going to make a difference,
In this world someday.
I'm going to go after it,
Not just sit around and wait.
I won't get pushed around,
And I won't wait in line.
Because like I said,
It's My Time To Shine...
