you said you loved me, you said you cared
but now that i think about it, you were never there.
you made a promise, that didn't last long
i caught you in a lie, you didn't think you did anything wrong.
i was so confused, i didn't know what was the truth.
you apologized which made it better, but it still made my question why were together. i had to think a few more days, untill i realized that some things just never change.
