As the wind blows
with a soothing murmur,
fallen leaves...
I wake up
to my winter memories...

A time long ago,
a land far away,
we spent our time
building sand castles...
we watched, as winter
weaved its spell
turned golden sunshines
into colder
darker nights...

Your dark eyes,
still haunt me
and I wonder,
who I am without
the warm touch of
your hands_
a broken heart,
and long lost memories
seek refuge in salty tears
fallen on my pillow
unheeded by me_
asleep.

How the winter nights were endless
how truthful your words
your voice_seemed.

I still hear you...
I'm sure I do,
as you ever spoke to me_
of tomorrow,
not yet washed away with
sand castles.
