The past few weeks have been hell
And I haven't been doing well
I asked you out because I love you
And I wanted my dreams to come true
Why would you say yes if you didn't want to
Do you know what you're putting me through
I tried to give you my all
But instead you let me fall
I don't know what I wanted us to mean
And I wish this was all a bad dream
Us being happy together was all in my head
So I'm the only one whose eyes are red
Red from alack of sleep
Or maybe it's because I weep
This has put me through a lot of stress
And right now I'm a complete mess
Believing that you could love me was my fault
I don't know what I thought
Getting over you just requires time
But I'll never find another more fine
I know that sometimes things have to end
But how can we go back to being friends
It's with you that I've found life can be good
Yet with you I've seen life be worse than it should
I will be able to trust someone again never
For you've broken my heart into a million pieces forever
