The swollen river raged
To well over its banks
Swallowing up shoulders
Of Grass
In the late afternoon
Of yesterday
When the sullen skies
Wept a torrent of rain
And the Earth trembled
In near panic
Enduring the strength
Of the winds unforgiving
Gales
Recoiling from the
Infinite thunder
Totally shaken from
The spirals of lightening
And ever so desperate
Trying to adapt to:
The Tempest that is you
